Computational Health Science

The BYU Computational Health Science Research Collaborative seeks to be a truly transdisciplinary mentoring environment for students and faculty to conduct innovative research that will inform future practice directed at changing health behavior.

Students from Health Science, Statistics, Economics, Math and Computer Science work side-by-side, leveraging data to address relevant health issues in innovative ways. Given the nature of the data and the needed technology, the students' contributions naturally span disciplines and allow them to have an impact in ways not possible by the current capability of individual discipline separately.
